| Tips to the department work!! |
With just one tip from a concerned citizen in our neighborhood watch area resulted in the Galveston Police Department arresting 4 subjects involved in 18 different thefts from automobiles. All tips are good tips and we follow up on all of them. |

| Summer |
With the warm weather of summer approaching and the economy not doing well, we are seeing an increase in crime. We ask that everyone keep an eye out for suspious activities and report them as they occur.
We are asking people to get involved. If you help with a crime against your neighbor today, it may prevent a crime against you tomorrow. |
